Language is a virus, who sang that ? The Eurythimcs no no Laurie Anderson -thanks internet for helping my full brain.Let’s talk about language, spelling and popular words been tossed around like a limp salad at a buffet.

Manifesting ,manifesting mani fucking festing . If you have been on a “higher” journey or your “awakening” you may have been instructed in multiple ways on how to manifest. Let’s look at a few shall we?

You can;
pay some one a lot of money to tell you how, and be instructed to think about

something for 11 seconds, 17 seconds , 30 seconds ,one minute ,say it out loud 5 times , put your bum to the sun and chant.
You want to manifest money ,there’s a $2000 course for that. You can do an uncredited course with a big name for even bigger money to show you how to dream big while they sit on their island they bought with the thousands of suckers that paid for it. Any Simpsons OG watcher will remember the Brad Goodman episode ...you get the idea that I am a little bit cynical /sceptical about some of these methods .

On the timescale of things I have actually manifested before I knew , or was bombarded with that word, most of my life. Two super quick examples of early manifesting - I wanted a radio show at my favourite station- I got it, years later I wanted a job planting trees and it literally came to me through one of my dj friends. AMAZING! I hear you cry- I did not even know I was manifesting boss style .Like so many words they become part of a current trend, I am thinking borderline hysteria / overkill and then the word loses its meaning , I have actually just finished a novel about the history of the dictionary and many 19th century writers and general public for that matter would be freaked out by our modern take on many words but I will not digress.

There are many statements in life that I love , one of my favourites “keep it simple stupid” it is really true.In the old days your parents or a mentor, aunt or uncle may have said “dream big “or “set goals” or “go for gold”. Along with many other statements which are basically all good and true. On the “spiritual path” it is easy to get overwhelmed with the term manifesting and start working really hard at “it” and not getting the “it” that you wanted.SO I am here to share some of my magic.

You’ve heard it, sung a song about it but do you know what abracadabra means? In Hebrew it means “ I create what I speak” YES!! People may not know it is an incantation-or a more common tern spell. Now that we have that word covered it also means - we create our own realities. You may say - well my life is a big old fucking mess right now- well what do you like about having that mess, the drama, the feeling stuck?

Every time you speak that out loud your body and the entire universe hears you! My friends what you say , read , watch all enters your mind consciously and sub consciously and your energy body, even babies see and hear whilst inside the Mother so that “energy body” is always listening .

SO if you keep saying or thinking that you are a mess, or your life is, it may stay that way for awhile.YOu are your universe so what your universe hears it will provide. Only you can change it, not even the therapist will change it , you can pay them heaps of money too tho if you like . However I have a PayPal me account so you could just donate that money to me and not even have to leave your house, get out

of your fav pyjamas to just go speak over and over the same things that will amount to not much happening for you ,LOL - button lol.

When we give ourself the space and quietness to think ,amazing things can truely happen, that is the biggest part of the equation I believe. In 2014 I was house surfing while getting ready to move 1200 kms interstate. I had a small gutless car and my friend from up north said that won’t cut it in the rainforest and a minimum of a pretend 4WD was the best option. I knew nothing about what to look for.A few days later whilst with a friend I saw gold Kluger in the service station getting petrol , so whilst I was at my trusted mechanic the next day I asked him about the vehicle I had seen, he said was the best car on the market and the company had never made a better model than that . So that night I got online and looked at what was around. Most looked great except the boot would always look like the three little pigs lived there before they went into the architecture business . Feeling deflated I put the computer away and left the search for a a few days. I said in my mind , maybe out loud (tho I feel that was unlikely ) that I needed a car , I pictured in my mind a clean great condition Kluger - I didn’t go into huge have a fuckin ceremony or detail I just thought it . After a few days I got back on the car sales site and abracadabra there was one at $10,000 cheaper than any other I had seen. I rang my mechanic, he looked at it online and said “Go today , it won’t last”.I looked , I drove, I liked and hey presto I bought her. All my cars have names and I decided The bat mobile had been done twice before, “Starfire” , my favourite Teen Titans Go character has been my trusty steed ever since, spotless no trace of homeless pigs ,straw or mud , bricks or sticks ,a one driver owner and she purrs like a kitten-yes I love cars.

That same week, I now needed to find a place to live once we got up north. I had lots of things to consider one being that I might get dragged back to my home state due to court orders ,so I decided that I needed a furnished place. I was throwing my whole life that I knew out the door with an 8 year old in tow- gutsy yes, yes I am.

So once again i searched on the net a Facebook page for the area for a few days and came up with nothing. Ok, time to give space. A few hours later I decided to put a post of what i wanted on the page I was searching and within 2 hours I had a reply. We lived there for 18 months ! No chanting , sunning my butthole or anything else required.

And as the great distraction that our human life is-especially if you are parenting , it is easy to forget that I did those and so many other things. To start simple you can think about some one you would like to hear from and they may very well abracadabra right in front of you at the super market , text or call you or DM you or whatever preferred form of communication you have now. I have bought into existence plants, new people and recently a dog I am minding for some one else.

I share this because after a while it is easy to put some one else in charge of our creations, and one thing I know in myself having jumped off the cliff in complete trust several times is the simple equation

create space + be clear on your wish +let it go = I got what I needed/wished for.

The other part of the “giving yourself space” I have found is to not do your “speaking

into existence” with too many other people. They will , unintentionally throw shade or the doubt that I mentioned earlier into your mind , and whether we think we don’t’ think about it , in my experience you will hear their exact words and your bubble of creation gets a ding in it or may even shatter depending on how much you think you value that person in your life.

We can really get so messed up with outside influences that that - “oh but what if that happens” from a friend or relative can fuck you up . My father , through the intention of being caring would always ask me what I was doing with my life , mainly after my mother passed away, and for me that put stress on me as I felt he never felt what I did was worthy/good enough. I know he wanted me to succeed in life- but what is your version of success may not be mine. My Mother had a different view and believed in my journey , even tho it looked nothing like hers. My life may look messy to some, to others it’s interesting, exciting and most importantly from my perspective it has been all I have wanted and nothing I have wanted all at the same time! Yes -what I just said. It will all be revealed in the unfolding of the wand case , let us stay focused on manifesting for now.

Now another important part of this magic spell is that whatever we think “i don’t deserve, the I cant’s and I’ll never get that” are now little incantations that you have just bought into creation ....shit- they are one of the hardest to stop and depending on where this is the book I would refer back to the help of EFT tapping , because I can throw all the self love and empowerment words at you but it really does have to come from you, and releasing/breaking old programmed thinking does take work . Get that mind into boot camp people. EFT is great to change patterns as you do physical and speaking out loud points on the body all at once.....amd by you - the master creator.

Did you pick up on the “let it go” part? It really is simple, but at the same time not . Life is NOT meant to be complicated, systems/programs have been put in place to make it so and also the disconnection we have had for centuries for some families to the universe, multiverse - it’s fucking real . and re read the story of my sweat lodge experience to “ground “ that in ...that’s another term, ugh don’t even start me - really just have your shit in the present, not the past , not the worried unknown future- just get in your now. What do I need now?

And that my friends is the gold, I have the “formula” there in bold so you can make easy reference to it...make sure every part of your detail is clear. Why?ok funny story . I was going on a plane interstate and I said - I want the seat next to me to have a tall handsome guy in it. It was just after Christmas so “Santa” provided. I didn’t say he had to be single - was he NO !!! Fuck what a bummer , we got along like a house on fire, he even loved my toddler - he was tall, educated , into music ... every detail people! Except the most important one I didn’t ask Santa for a single version of that man. He even came up to me at the luggage collection and said how nice it was to meet me and shook my hand GUH !! So get clear , as fucking crystal .

I don’t believe there is any more on the story side of this , I could go on and on and then this would be a book of rambling , making long stories instead of short stories and not inline with my keep it simple stupid statement from before either lol- insert

goofy face emoji here and a hashtag #keepitsimplestupid .

One other important thing is that your soul is a huge part of the journey and your timing might not be aligned with the souls timing so sometimes they may not come as quickly as you thought.There was an old L’oreal hair commercial growing up “it won’t happen over night but it will happen” make that our new mantra lol. Now my last example shows a stuck mindset made something take nearly 10 years - writing these stories. I had told my self when I came up with “Where the Fuck did I leave my wand” as a title that I could not be an author. And so 10 years later when I had stopped telling myself that story and I had made friends with a published author of wonderful books who encouraged me to go for it on Substack I have now created a dream of writing my magical experiences for the world into existence .

Keep reminding yourself every thought and word and action has a consequence - make them positive and for you and your dreams and then so it is. Now excuse me while i got put my wand back on my dresser and head off into the garden in the magical space I created currently called home.
